( ADSL | FTTC | Router )

I couldn’t get my Billion 7800DXL working – wouldn’t connect.  Found that my Billion 8800NL does work.  It’s because we’re on FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet).

For future reference.

vdsl2

why bipac 8800nl works with these settings:
2.32d.dm2
dsl
ptm(vdsl)
ppoe
david.mateer@btbroadband.com
ahh this is VDSL2 - FTTC?

why bipac 7800DXL doesn't connect

What exchange do we have?
